VOTER REGISTRATION:

If you have recently moved to Longport and need to register to vote, mail-in registration forms are available through the Longport Clerk's Office (609) 823-2731 Ext. 100 or online from the Atlantic County Clerk’s Office

The deadline for registering to vote is 21 days prior to the primary or general election. Primary elections are on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June. The General Election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO VOTE IN ORDER TO VOTE. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER YOU CANNOT VOTE.

PARTY AFFILIATION:

If you wish to change your Party Affiliation for the Primary Election you must do so 55 DAYS PRIOR TO THE PRIMARY ELECTION. Change of Party Affiliation Forms must be filed with the Atlantic County Clerk's Office prior to the deadline.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO VOTE IN ORDER TO VOTE. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER YOU CANNOT VOTE.

If you are going to be out of town or unavailable to vote on Election Day or wish to Vote by Mail, applications are also available at our office or online - Vote by Mail.
The deadline to apply for a Vote by Mail Ballot is one week prior to the election if done by mail, or on the day before the election by 3pm if done in person in the COUNTY CLERKS OFFICE IN MAYS LANDING.
