• TENNIS/PICKLEBALL UPDATE
• Attendants' start date is Thursday, June 22nd~ until then the courts are on a first come, first serve basis.
• NEW COURT HOURS! Courts open at 8am. Last reservation is at 6pm.
• Reservations: IN-Person only!! $10 per hour for non-residents. Reserve courts up to 7 days in advance!
• NEW THIS YEAR:
  • “Longport Tennis/Pickleball Membership Program”~ Residents will have a discounted rate of $8 per hour and be able to reserve courts up to 2 weeks in advance!
  • Please email proof of residency to Maripat McKenna at recreationsupervisor@longport-nj.us. In the subject line please write: “Tennis Membership.”
  • You will be able to reserve courts in the office next to the playground beginning on JUNE 17th!
• As always, please be patient with our young tennis attendants. They are trying their best and deserve to be treated kindly.
  
  
  
• BEACH TRANSPORT PROGRAM
• Please be advised, on June 18, 2022, the Borough of Longport began providing transport over the dunes to individuals that need assistance.
• We ask that all individuals requesting transport to fill out an application and submit required documentation.  Once the application and documentation are submitted, the individual will be given a membership card.  Please show this card when you are picked up for transport. 

We appreciate your cooperation. Please follow the directions below:

• Step 1: Fill out an application (Click HERE for Beach Transport Membership Application)

• Step 2: Drop off the required documentation (see below) to the Recreation Office (33rd and Atlantic Avenues) The office closest to the beach.

• Please submit a copy of (1) one of the following:

• Handicap Placard

• Doctor’s note

• Proof of Age (65 years and older)

• Step 3: Sign a waiver (Click HERE for Application or can be picked up at the Recreation Office)
  
  
• Step 4: You will be given a membership card. Please keep this in a safe place.
  
  
• Step 5: Call 609-822-6038 beginning at 10 am to ask for transport. Program will start on June 18th. Office is open 7 days per week until Labor Day.
  
  
• Step 6: Last call for transport off the beach will be 5:15 pm (No exceptions).

Please note: We do have beach wheelchairs available as well, and the following streets have handicap entrances- 16th, 27th, 32nd, 33rd, & 35th.
